For readers searching simply for “Davante Adams age,” the key answer is therefore 33 years old in 2026.
Davante Adams’ Age and NFL Career Timeline
Adams entered the NFL in 2014 after playing college football at Fresno State. The Green Bay Packers selected him 53rd overall in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
His career has now stretched across more than a decade and includes four NFL teams.
2014: Adams Enters the NFL at 21
Adams was 21 when he was drafted by Green Bay in 2014. As a rookie, he played 16 regular-season games and recorded 38 receptions for 446 yards and three touchdowns. He also contributed during the playoffs.
His early numbers were modest compared with what came later, but they marked the beginning of one of the most productive wide receiver careers of his era.
2016–2021: Green Bay Becomes His Breakout Period
Adams developed into a centerpiece of the Packers’ passing offense over the following seasons. In 2016, he posted 75 receptions, 997 yards and 12 touchdowns.
The biggest statistical leap came later. He recorded 111 catches, 1,386 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2018, followed by another highly productive campaign in 2020, when he finished with 115 receptions, 1,374 receiving yards and an NFL-leading 18 touchdown catches.
During this period, Adams also established himself as one of the league’s most accomplished receivers. He earned Pro Bowl selections from 2017 through 2022 and was named first-team Associated Press All-Pro three times from 2020 through 2022.
2022–2023: The Raiders Years
Adams moved from Green Bay to the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022. His first season with Las Vegas produced one of the strongest statistical years of his career: 100 receptions, 1,516 yards and 14 touchdowns.
At age 29, he remained one of the NFL’s leading high-volume receivers. In 2023, he again topped 100 receptions, finishing with 103 catches for 1,144 yards and eight touchdowns.
2024: Raiders and Jets
The 2024 season brought another team change. Adams began the year with Las Vegas before moving to the New York Jets.
Across both teams, he produced 85 receptions for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns. The Rams’ official career statistics record 18 receptions for 209 yards and one touchdown in his three games with the Raiders, followed by 67 receptions for 854 yards and seven touchdowns with the Jets.
How Old Was Davante Adams When He Joined the Rams?
Adams was 32 years old when he joined the Los Angeles Rams in March 2025.
The Rams signed him to a two-year deal in March 2025 after he became a free agent following his release by the Jets. The move gave Los Angeles an experienced veteran receiver entering his 12th NFL season.
His first Rams season produced 60 receptions for 789 yards and 14 touchdowns in 14 games. The touchdown total was particularly notable because Adams led the NFL in receiving touchdowns during the 2025 regular season.
That season also put his age into useful perspective. Rather than treating age alone as a measure of a receiver’s role, Adams’ 2025 production showed that he was still being used as a major scoring target.
Davante Adams’ Career Stats at Age 33
As of September 2026, the Rams’ official statistics list Adams with 1,020 receptions, 12,659 receiving yards and 117 regular-season receiving touchdowns across 179 games.
His production also places him among the notable statistical leaders in NFL history. The Pro Football Hall of Fame lists Adams with 117 receiving touchdowns, placing him seventh all-time at the beginning of the 2026 season.
He was also listed 16th in NFL history in receptions at the start of the 2026 season, with 1,017 at that point; his three receptions in the Rams’ opening regular-season game subsequently brought the official total to 1,020.

Is Davante Adams Still Playing in 2026?
Yes. Davante Adams is still an active NFL player in 2026, and the Los Angeles Rams list him as their No. 17 wide receiver. The team’s current roster information lists him at age 33 with 13 years of NFL experience.
His 2026 regular-season statistics currently show three receptions for 26 yards after the Rams’ Week 1 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
The important distinction is that 33 is his current age, not the age at which his career began. Adams entered the league in his early 20s and has remained in the NFL long enough to become a veteran with more than 1,000 receptions.
How Does Davante Adams’ Age Compare With His Career Peak?
Adams reached several of his biggest statistical milestones in his late 20s and early 30s. His 2022 season with the Raiders, for example, came at age 29 and featured 1,516 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. His 2025 Rams season came at age 32 and included 14 touchdown receptions.
That makes his career unusual in one practical sense: his age has not prevented him from remaining a significant red-zone and scoring threat.
His playing style also relies heavily on route precision, separation, timing and contested-catch ability rather than purely on straight-line speed. That distinction helps explain why his career has continued well beyond the early-career stage of an NFL receiver.
What Is Davante Adams Known For?
Adams is best known for his production as a wide receiver, particularly his touchdown totals and consistency as a high-volume target.
His resume includes:
- Six Pro Bowl selections from 2017 through 2022
- Three AP first-team All-Pro selections from 2020 through 2022
- Multiple 100-reception seasons
- Several seasons with at least 1,300 receiving yards
- A league-leading 18 receiving touchdowns in 2020
- 117 regular-season receiving touchdowns through the 2025 season and first game of 2026
The numbers provide more context than his age alone. At 33, Adams is a veteran receiver whose career totals already place him among the NFL’s historically productive pass catchers.
